Written by TEAM-OWNER AND DRIVER PELLE WALLENTHEIM:

Why start a project like when from the start you have a thousand questions that seem impossible to solve? Well, because nothing is impossible. It just takes longer time and requires more planning.

There's no doubt about the fact that it's time for Rally Raid to have a Swedish team with a Swedish brand... and after I walked away winning the fight against cancer we are now aiming towards the future - and more specifically the podium of The Dakar.

After competing in The Dakar Rally two times with a car built in Australia (also with a relatively low budget), I learned that if you take cheaper parts, then it will be fun - but not close to what I first had imagined it to be. Knowing the morning before starting a stretch that the car is too heavy and that I would have to hold back and not be able to drive at 100% - there's frustration. So after my first Dakar race it started spinning in my head. How difficult can it be to build a real car?

The next questions was - who can draw and construct a tubular frame? Who can design and manufacture moulds for the body? How do you get the right parts to fit? Many questions... but at the same time I felt that a big dream was about to be realized.

And imagine - life is full of surprises. Just 20 kilometers from where I live, there was a guy who has been bulding race cars of the highest class, with an outstanding and amazing track record. I contacted Roland Gingtorp, ("gäddhultarn" is his nickname in Swedish), and we started planning the construction of a car - a real car with a tubular frame, carbon fiber body and so of course a diesel engine. We have now decided that we will not only build just one car - but two ... or maybe three?

We hope you will follow the action on this website!
